Overview

By the end of this program, the viewer should be able to:  

  •  Describe at least two nonvascular interventional procedures including why the procedure is performed  and what type of information can be obtained and/or the benefits. 
  •  Describe fallopian tube recanalization including which patients benefit from this procedure,  materials/devices used, and potential outcomes. 
  •  Define radiofrequency (RF) ablation therapies and explain the benefit this type of therapy provides  patients. 
  •  Formulate an appreciation and understanding of how technology developments and research play an  important role in identifying new treatments for disease processes as well as palliative care.
