Overview

By the end of this program, the viewer should be able to:

  • Explain the importance effective communication has on the overall quality of the mammographic exam.
  • Discuss the effect compression has on image quality. 
  • Discuss the American College of Radiology (ACR) defined steps to perform basic mammography positioning. 
  • Discuss how supplementary views are used not only to image excluded breast tissue, but also in problem-solving mammography.
