Overview

By the end of this program, the viewer should be able to: 

  • Discuss the basic tenets of evaluating microcalcifications. 
  • Describe the anatomy of the terminal duct lobular unit. 
  • Recognize the categories of breast lesions as defined by the ACR. 
  • Identify features of breast calcifications as defined in the BI-RADS lexicon. 
  • Explain distribution modifiers as defined in the BI-RADS lexicon
