Overview

By the end of this program, the viewer should be able to:

  • Recall the concepts of mammography, including the various components of mammographic equipment.
  • Review the criteria necessary for obtaining optimal CC views of the breast.
  • Explain the concepts of the posterior nipple line rule.
  • Identify the concepts needed to obtain American College of Radiology (ACR) accreditation. 
  • Review the criteria necessary for obtaining optimal MLO views of the breast. 
  • Describe compression analysis for CC and MLO views of the breast.
