By the end of this program, the viewer should be able to: 

  • Identify the current imaging modalities used in breast cancer detection, diagnosis, and treatment  assessment. 
  • Describe the typical ultrasound appearance of benign and malignant lesions. 
  • Discuss the radiographic signs of breast disease. 
  • Discuss the roles of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and positron emission tomography (PET) in  breast cancer assessment.
